abstract

This paper reports preliminary data on daily rhythmic fluctuations in skin and deep body temperatures of captive owls, and is a by-product of research aimed at the development of radio-telemetric techniques suitable for continuous, simultaneous monitoring of certain physiological and behavioral activities of unrestrained birds in the wild.
