Bay-breasted Warbler (Dendroica castanea) Science Article 1
abstract
IN most of the publications dealing with the avifauna of eastern United States, the Bay-breasted Warbler (Dendroicac astanea) is considered a rare or at least an uncommon bird. Frequenting the coniferous forests of the Canadian Zone, it breeds within this country in only a few of the most northerly States in limited numbers.
