abstract
Adult and juvenile Bananaquits (Coerebafi aveola) were captured and banded at nine different sites in southern Grenada in August-October 1976, 1977, and 1978. The proportion of black morphs decreased to seaward on Point Saline.T he morph-ratio cline was steeper for adults than for juveniles, because juveniles move greater distances than postbreeding adults. Home-range sizes of adults are larger during the dry season than in the wet season which under some circumstances can bring about temporal changes in the steepness of a cline
