abstract
Between 13 and 25 October 1997, a total of 1,884 migrating raptors were recorded at HoangLien Nature Reserve, Lao Cai province, Vietnam. Although sporadic raptor migration recordsfrom Vietnam exist, a migration of this scale has never been previously recorded.
