abstract
We analysed the call repertoires of the Red-billed Chough (Pyrrhocorax pyrrhocorax) and the AlpineChough (Pyrrhocorax graculus) across three continents (Europe, Asia, and Africa) for intraspecific and interspecificdifferences in call-repertoire size and discuss the factors that could have promoted its evolution.
