abstract
The Philadelphia Vireo (Vireo philadelphicus) is an uncommon, forest-dwelling, neotropical migrantrestricted in British Columbia to the Boreal Plains and Taiga Plains ecoprovinces. It is a habitatgeneralist, but its distribution is linked with the distribution of deciduous-dominated forests. Relativelyfew data exist on populations, habitat use, or breeding productivity. The limits of its distribution are notwell known.
