In Illinois, this species is an uncommon migrant and summer resident. Recent recordsinclude the following counties: Carroll, Cass, Coles, Cook, Crawford, DuPage, Fulton,Grundy, Henry, Kane, Kendall, Lake, Lawrence, Lee, Marshall, Mason, Massac,McHenry, Putnam, Rock Island, Sangamon, Tazewell, Vermilion, Will, Williamson,Winnebago.
